30. Student Possessions

The school is not responsible for students’ personal property that they choose to bring to school. If students' personal property is broken, damaged or stolen while at school, repair or replacement is the students' responsibility. The following suggestions are made to help prevent losses and to aid in the recovery of lost items.

● Place your name in or on all of your books, backpacks, purses, billfolds, wearing apparel, etc., so that such articles may be identified and returned when found.

● Do not bring unnecessary items to school, especially items of value. No skateboards, hoverboards, scooters or roller blades are allowed at school.

● Do not carry purses, backpacks/bags or other possessions that are unnecessary from class to class. ● Bring no more money to school than is necessary.

● Overcoats are not to be worn in the classroom unnecessarily.

● Keep your locker combination a secret!

● If your locker is broken or will not work, report it immediately to the office.

● Students in physical education should place all possessions in their gym lockers during the class.

● If you lose something, check daily at the library and office; if a valuable item is found, return it to the office. ● Keep your locker clean and organized.
